A few weeks ago, I went to the vein clinics because I had been experiencing some circulation issues with my left leg. No worries; no blood clots! Anyhoo, they write me a prescription for some compression stockings. Note to Self: we will not be going out like Mama from Mama's Family. So, I go to one of the medical supply stores that were in the neighborhood. Of course, like most stores - they didn't have my size, style, and color. I asked do they come in black; I was told they didn't make black. I asked do you have open toe; they didn't have open toe. I asked do you have thigh highs; they wanted to sell me stockings. She made a copy of my prescription/insurance information and gave them back to me until the stockings arrived. Get home. Look on Amazon and find black, open toe, thigh high compression stocks made by the company I was told didn't make em. I emailed the medical supply company with all the information to order those stockings. No response. Days later, get a call to come into the store. Thoughts to myself: I don't want to drive 15 mins. out to see they are still trying to pimp out those "Mama" compression stockings. Get to the store and I'll be damned. It was those same pair of stockings. Whatever happened to customer service. Luckily, while getting ready to go to the store, I forgot to bring my prescription/insurance information. That pair of "Mama" compression stockings are still left on the shelf for someone else to buy!
